Ariel is the kid who finds it hard to stop! Her body, mind and tongue are never still. She moves, thinks and talks - CONSTANTLY!! Her exhausted parents and teachers wish she had a switch located at the back of her neck so they could turn her off and get a few minutes peace. Characteristics of Gifted Girls

How do gifted girls differ from their non-gifted peers? Research on the charactersitics of gifted girls has highlighted the following points: * Gifted girls tend to score more like males than do nongifted females on measures of interests, values, and personalities. * Women with high ability tend to be more achievement oriented and are more interested in male-dominated professions.
