The Australian National JASON Conference (ANJC) is an annual event designed for educators who plan to teach or co-ordinate the new JASON curriculum, Operation: Monster Storms in 2008.

This two-day event will run between 30th & 31st October 2007 and will feature:

• Keynote presentations from:
  • Storm Chaser Jimmy Deguara
  • The NSW State Emergency Service
  • The Bureau of Meteorology
    
  • The Weather Company

• Break-out workshops focusing on:
  • Hands-on activities/experiments from the Operation: Monster Storms curriculum
  • Beginner sessions for new JASON Teachers
  • Advanced sessions for experienced JASON teachers and teachers who participated in the Pilot Monster Storms curriculum in 2006/07
  • Workshops on the use of the new JASON technologies
    
  • Australian correlations to the international environmental systems/locations used in the main curriculum
  • Support materials and displays
